My Interaction with the Course
How long does this course take to complete?
It should take about 2 hours to complete Part 1 of the course. It should take between 15 and 20 minutes to complete Part 2.
You will receive an email to complete Part 2 of the course approximately 30 days after completing Part 1.

Do I have to complete the course in one sitting?
No. You
can complete the course in one sitting, or you can take breaks. If you take a break, we recommend that you wait until you have completed one of the Modules.
Note: Before you log out of the course, be sure to
click the "Next" button at the end of a section. If you fail to do this, the system
will not record your progress and you will have to repeat that section when you log back in the next time.

Are my answers to questions confidential?
Your answers are strictly confidential. Any responses you provide to survey or Exam questions will be grouped together with other student's answers, and no one will ever connect you with your responses. The answers you submit to our free-response or journaling questions are also confidential.

How will I know when I am done with the course?
GreekLifeEdu is considered "complete" when you have
finished all 3 Modules in Part 1 and passed the Exam. In addition, your organization may ask you to complete Part 2 (a brief survey) 30 days after you have completed Part 1.
Please refer to the Exam section of My GreekLifeEdu to check your course completion status or to get a printer-friendly certificate of completion once you have finished the course.

When will I have to complete Part 2?
Approximately 30 to 45 days after you have completed
Part 1, you will be notified by email that you should now login and complete
Part 2 of the course.

How do I navigate through the course?
You may navigate through the course by using the
"Next" or action buttons at the bottom of each screen.

How do I review parts of the course that I have already seen?
To review different parts of the course, use the
Course Navigation Bar on the left side of the screen.
Note: You can only review the parts of the course that you have already completed. You will not be able to access some areas of the course prior to Survey 1.

How can I ensure that my progress in the course is saved before I logout?

"Logout" button at the top right of your screen.

Is there a web address that I can use to access GreekLifeEdu?
There is a general web address for GreekLifeEdu, but
your school specifically requires that you access GreekLifeEdu from their portal. You will always need to log in to that portal prior to accessing GreekLifeEdu.
If you are having problems accessing your school's portal, or if you are logged in to the portal and can't find the link to GreekLifeEdu, please contact your administrator for further assistance.

The Exam
What do I need to do to prepare for the Exam?
We recommend that you take notes on core content before taking the Exam. You may also review parts of the course that you have already completed by using the
Course Navigation Bar on the left side of the screen.
Once you start the Exam, please keep the following things in mind to avoid being forced to retake the Exam:
- Take the Exam in one sitting.
- Do not close the window before completing the Exam.
- Do not use your browser's "Back" button.
- Do not open another browser window.

"Technical Help" button at the top right of your screen.

What do I need to get on the Exam to pass it?
Each Greek letter organization sets its own requirements for passing the Exam. Please check with your Administrator or refer to messages in the course from your institution to know the specific requirements set by your Greek letter organization.

Can I retake the Exam if I don't pass it?
Yes. If you fail the Exam, you can retake it.
If you fail the Exam, the course will direct you to My GreekLifeEdu where you can find a link to retake the Exam.

Who gets the Exam score(s)?
Your Greek letter organization will be notified of your final Exam grade. How you answered particular Exam questions is kept confidential and not reported.

What is GreekLifeEdu?
GreekLifeEdu® is an online prevention program designed to meet the needs of college students who are members of Greek letter organizations. This Population-Level Prevention® program is designed to challenge students' beliefs about alcohol, hazing, and sexual assault while enabling students to make healthy and safe decisions.

The purpose of GreekLifeEdu is to help you make healthy and safe decisions as a member of a Greek letter organization.
We are focused on preventing harm and making it less likely that you — or other members of your organization — will have problems because of your own or someone else's actions.
